Gianni Infantino: "I am very happy to be here in Israel. We just had a meeting in this beautiful technical centre with the President, my dear friend Oren (Hasson) and his team, the technical people, the General Secretary, and the whole team of the Israeli Football Federation.
Looking at the vision, but not only the vision but also the strategy to bring football in Israel to the next level. To give a real chance and a real opportunity to every boy and every girl of this beautiful country, to play football, to enjoy football, to follow their dream and their passion, and ultimately of course as well to have results at the top level.
But to start, we need to start from the basis and the Federation has understood it clearly, the vision is there, the strategy is there and the work has started. Hard work will go into this, so it is an exciting time for football in Israel.

Oren Hasson, IFA President, summed up the visit and meeting first by addressing the FIFA president: "Thank you for finding the time to come here and meet us. Built with the help of FIFA. I am happy about our conversation today, the focus on the ways in which football can be promoted here together and your commitment is definitely encouraging. FIFA has helped us quite a bit and I hope we enjoy helping with the various projects we talked about. The President has promised us in the past that he will come here by the end of the year and he has kept his word. I hope for more visits from him and the people of FIFA in favor of the continued development of Israeli football".
